This weekend was my twins birthday. Andrew wanted a RC car. I wanted something that was rugged and not insanely fast. I think I got the perfect present. It is the Losi Mini T. This is a 1/18 scale red Baja truck. It is a nice little car. It is set up for AA batteries but you can get a rechargeable NiCd battery for it. It has several neat hop up from bodies, to oil filled shocks, and up to a more powerful brushless engine and ESC. I drove it a little yesterday and it was alot of fun. I think it will be great entry level car for him.
